Dr. Howard has over 38 years of experience helping adult clients who experience depression, stress or anxiety, relationship and/or marital issues, create a path to a more enjoyable life. His practical, eclectic approach, utilizing a variety of cognitive-behavioral techniques will allow for the development of new skills. In your initial consultation, we will explore your desires and goals for therapy and how we can work together to achieve them.

Dr. Howard has been granted the Certificate of Professional Qualifications in Psychology (CPQ) by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards. He is certified as a Diplomate in Sex Therapy by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. He has over twenty years of experience helping resolve sexual dysfunctions, including low libido, orgasm difficulties, compatibility, desire discrepancies, and sexuality during or after health issues or problems.

Dr. Howard utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques tailored to the individual or situation. Therapy is undergone in a manner to insure respect for confidentiality and dignity at all times. Treatment may be coordinated with physicians and other professionals as appropriate.

Doctorate in Counseling: Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan

Dr. Howard obtained his doctorate from Michigan State University and received post-graduate supervised experience at the Battle Creek Sanitarium Hospital. He is licensed as a psychologist in Florida, Indiana and Michigan. He practiced in Lansing, Michigan, for twenty-six years providing outpatient psychotherapy for individuals and couples experiencing a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.
